Your Task Is...
Students will work in groups of four to create this unit project on the Revolutionary War. As a group, you will be assigned an important document, an important event that took place in the everyday lives of the colonists, and a governmental act imposed on the Colonists by the British government. Here, you will work as a group to research and collect information on your document, event and governmental act. The final product of this task will be a 2 page typed paper on each topic in 12 point Times New Roman Font and double spaced. Please site your sources and put them on a seperate page stapled to the back. If you would like, you may include a picture or depiction of the document, event, or act.
Individually, you will be assigned a battle that was fought during the Revolutionary War between the years of 1775 and 1781. Also assigned will be the name of an important male and female figure that somehow helped the course of events that led to the Revolutionary War and Independence. The battle and the two prominent figures are to be researched on your own. Here, you will write a 2 page typed paper on your assigned battle and a 2 page paper on each of your prominent figures in 12 point Times New Roman Font and double spaced. Please site your sources and put them on a seperate page and stapled to the back. If you would like, you may include a picture or depiction where the battle took place and your prominate figures.
